Do I need a 4 wheel drive to get to Caju'Afrique ?
Not essential but recommended in wet weather.
How can i get to Caju'Afrique?
Flights from Durban and Gauteng to Maputo and Inhambane are available.
Transit or car hire can be arranged from the airport. - By 4x4 or 4x2 - 4h 30m from Maputo.
What do i need to bring?
Beach towels and toiletries, anti-mosquito sticks, soaps and sprays etc. (mosquito nets provided).
A basic First Aid kit is recommended. Heb cooler recommended. Water-Ski equipment, windsurfers, kite-board equipment and all other sport related items. (Canoes and life-jackets are provided). Chicken and Fish available in the village. Meat can be purchased in Maxixe or pre-ordered with your booking confirmation. Cereals and commodities, we suggest you bring with you, or buy in Maputo or Inhambane. Refreshments, Alcohol and Cigarettes are readily available throughout Mozambique.
Borehole water is available. Bottled water can be purchased in the village or en Route.
Fresh organic fruit, vegetables and herbs, grown at Caju'Afrique are seasonally available
(inclusive - subject to availability). Charcoal is provided (inclusive)
What recommendations do you have for accommodation en Route to Caju'Afrique?
Maputo : Holiday Inn, Maputo (on the beach) is highly recommended, as is The Cardoso. +/- 40km between Maputo and Caju'Afrique : Casa Lisa and The Blue Anchor Inn
